OHSA Compliance for the Construction Industry Provides instruction to entry level participants on a variety of construction industry safety and health standards. This outreach effort, aimed at promoting workplace safety and health will be taught by an authorized trainer. Please note: OSHA course completion cards will be issued to all participants. Date: April 8-9, 2002.
10-Hour OSHA General Industry This 10-hour course was developed to provide workers, supervisors and other personnel with an awareness of safety and health concerns in the workplace. All attendees will become familiar with reading and using the OSHA standards for construction 29 CFR 1910. Other safety and health standards applying to industry are also discussed. This course updates and reviews standard safety and health principles and information that prepare students to recognize and control a variety of hazardous conditions. Upon completion of the course, attendees will receive a certification card from OSHA. Date: May 1-2, 2002. 2) Interested in arranging a course on-site and/or one tailored to the needs of your employees? Principles discussed in the video are also applicable to other settings where respiratory protection programs are necessary. The video is accompanied by a CD containing the written NIOSH guide for program administrators. Hosted by Emmy winner Loretta Swit.
