Directions to Salem County Vocational Technical School
From Delaware
Take the Delaware Memorial Bridge to Route 40. Follow Signs staying on Route 40 until you pass through Cow Town. At the second traffic light, make a right onto Route 45 South. The school is on your left.
New Jersey- from the North
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Swedesboro at Exit #2. Upon leaving the exit booth, make a left-hand turn onto Route 322. At the first traffic light, (you will see Kingsway Regional High School) make a left-hand turn onto Route 551, Old Kings Highway. This will take you into Swedesboro. As you proceed through Swedesboro, you will come to a fork in the road. Take the left fork, which is Old Kings Highway. Continue on this road until you come to a second fork. Keep to the right and stay on Old Kings Highway at 0this junction. You will go back under the Turnpike and should continue through two intersections. At the second traffic light intersection, you will be crossing Route 40. Richman's Ice Cream Dairy will be on your left. Once you cross Route 40, make a left onto County House Road at the first intersection (This is not more than 500 feet). Continue on County House Road to the stop street. You will dead-end at Route 45 (Salem-Woodstown Road). Make a right-hand turn toward Salem (South). SCVTS is on the left hand-side of the road about 200 yards.
An alternative is to take Route 45 South through Woodstown. SCVTS is located 2.5 miles on the left. From the South take Route 49 to Salem then take Route 45 North for about five miles. SCVTS is on the right.
New Jersey- from the South
Take Route 49 to Salem. Make a right on Route 45 and follow up through Mannington. The school will be on your right hand side.
From Route 295
Take Route #295 South to Exit 10 Centre Square Road/Swedesboro exit. At the stop sign, turn left onto Centre Square Road going over Route 295. Pass the entrance to the Holiday Inn on your right hand side. Proceed East on Centre Square Road, which is also known as county Route 620 for 3.1 miles. At the second stop sign make a hard right onto Kings Highway. Go 6.2 miles (over the railroad tracks, pass the Beckett Golf Course, through the intersection with the blinking light. ) At the intersection at Richman's Ice Cream turn left onto Route 40. At the next intersection, make a right onto Route 45 and continue 2 miles until you see SCVTS on the left.
